- Hammond Tractor's annual open house event was a major success again in 2010 with the biggest hit being the Kora Shrine Klowns. Kora Unit Director Steve Moore claims they reached more children at the Hammond Tractor open house event than any other event so far in the 2010. Gary & Dave thank everyone for their involvement in this year's open house and of course our loyal customers... Thank you!
- Hammond Tractor hosted a Golf & Turf clinic at it's Fairfield location this February. The event was targeted at golf courses, city maintenance crews, airports, etc to present the newest equipment, service tips, and safety. Hammond Tractor's owners, service managers, sales staff, and technicians were present to provide information to the crowd of nearly 60 attendees from Maine & New Hampshire. - Hammond Tractor is hosting it's 11th annual Christmas Open House! Come in Saturday December 5th from 10am-1pm for pictures with Santa, 20% off all selected toys, refreshments, hayrides, crafts, face painting and more. The first 200 kids get a free grab bag. Click here for more information.
- Hammond Tractor is proud to announce the addition of Chris Moody to their management team. Moody is the new Service Manger. Moody, who grew up in the neighboring town of Washington, has long been exposed to our agricultural community. After graduating from the University of Maine Moody spent 14 years as a Middle School Math and Science teacher, Athletic Director and Coach for M.S.A.D. # 40 in Waldoboro as well as serving in the Maine Army National Guard as a helicopter crew chief with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Rising to the rank of Captain, Moody was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq for a year as the Commander of the 152nd Maintenance Company and was responsible for 244 soldiers.
Moody resides in Appleton with his wife of 18 years Mary Kate and children Katelin and Jack. His passions include fly fishing, motorcycles, woodworking and walking his yellow lab Gandalf. - Gary Hammond has been awarded the prestigious Maine Governor's Award for Business Excellence. John Baldacci personally presented the award recently at a banquet in Augusta. Congratulations to Gary on such an accomplishment!
- Hammond Tractor's Golf & Turf division is expanding! Mike Friedman will be joining us as the G&T sales representative taking care of Vermont & New Hampshire. Welcome Mike!
- Hammond Tractor has hired a full time Bandit Service Technician. Bandit certified Chris Chavarie, armed with a GMC Topkick complete with crane, will be working in shop and on site to meet all our Bandit customer's service needs.
- Hammond Tractor is proud to announce the return of John Deere Golf. HTC will be serving as Maine's John Deere Golf equipment sales and service dealership. Also part of HTC's new territory are Vermont &Northern New Hampshire. Veteran salesman John Parent has returned to HTC as one of our on-the-road sales representatives.
- Hammond Tractor's Open House Coming Right Up! HTC is celebrating it's 25th Anniversary with our largest open house events ever! Join us from 9am to 3pm on March 29th at Fairfield & Union and on April 5th at the new Auburn location. Stop in for demos, meet the factory reps, refreshments, tour the facilities, savings on parts & equipment, door prizes, and more.
- Hammond Tractor Introduces Third Location. On January 10th Hammond Tractor Company inked a deal purchasing Hammond Equipment (no connection despite the Hammond name) located on Minot Ave in Auburn, ME. Currently the Auburn location handles Mahindra & Woods equipment. With plans to extend the equipment HTC is looking forward to servicing the Auburn area!
- Hammond Tractor Celebrates 25th Anniversary. HTC is charging into it's 25th year with a new location located onMinot Ave in Auburn! Also for 2008, we're proud to be Maine's Banditdealership with a full time traveling sales rep.
- Hammond Tractor to Host Lawn Tractor Clinic. Saturday Oct 20th HTC will be hosting a training event to help owners get their lawn & garden tractors ready fro winter. Click here for more information.
- Hammond Tractor Rolls into the Farmington Fair! For the very first time, we're proud to be participating in the great Farmington Fair! Be sure to stop and take a gander at our display by the main entrance!
- Hammond Tractor Takes Home the Blue Ribbon at the Windsor Fair! We are flattered to have recieved the 1st place award for our display at the 2007 Windsor Fair! We'll see you next year!
